Our strategic plan outlines the agency-wide priorities of the Northwestern Health Unit (NWHU) for 2023 to 2026 based on the current and anticipated health needs of our communities and the mandate of public health.
The plan:
- Articulates a common vision, mission, goals, and objectives for health unit programs and staff.
- Acts as a communication tool with our partners and service users.

Annual and financial reports
Public Health Report Cards
Northwestern Health Unit’s Public Health Report Card is our annual report to the public with information about our activities, finances and overall performance. The Public Health Report Card presents highlights of the work that we are doing to promote healthy lifestyles, longer lives, lived well.
Audited financial statements
We also make public our audited financial statements to support transparency and accountability to the communities we serve.
