Mental health supports for children and youth

The COVID-19 pandemic can be especially hard for children and youth to understand. Their normal way of life has been drastically changed – no school, sports, events or​ activities with friends – and it can be difficult for them to navigate.This is a picture of a man consoling a child

Children and youth under 18 can access mental health services through Ontario.ca​ and, resources provided by Kids Help Phone, or by calling Kids Help Phone (1-800-668-6868) or Good2Talk helplines for 24/7 support if they need someone to talk to. Jack.org has also put together a COVID-19 Youth Mental Health Resource Hub​ for information and resources on mental health all in one place.
