About the licensing exam
The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing has contracted Humber College to offer the on-line licensing exam. Before you are able to register to write the exam you will need a Building Code Identification Number (BCIN) from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. You should allow at least three weeks for obtaining a BCIN and exam registration.
This course will be taught by Doug Vergunst, Chief Building Official of the Northwestern Health Unit for sewage systems using the new workbook developed by George Brown College. The workbook was developed based on the ministry curriculum. The health unit can offer assistance to individuals obtaining a BCIN and registering with Humber College.
