Chief Executive Officer
In 2008 Mark was appointed Chief Executive Officer for the Northwestern Health Unit. With a background in Microsoft Systems Engineering and designation as a Certified Human Resource Professional, Mark has been critical in the development of strong IT and Human Resource departments at the Health Unit.
Mark has spent time working in Health Promotion, Administration, and Operations. He joined the Health Unit in 1993 after leaving the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines where he worked for 6 years as a geologist and GIS/IT Support.
A life-long resident of Kenora, Mark and his family (wife Vicki and sons Zac and Noah), enjoy an active life on the lake. In addition to the lake, Mark can also be found at the gym most days.
