Public Health Question
  • Q:
Does my child need 2 flu shots every year they get the flu shot?
The first time a child under the age of 9 receives a flu shot they receive 2 doses, a month apart, to boost their immune system to protect them from influenza. After the initial 2 doses they will receive only 1 shot every year after that.
