KENORA Kenora Best Start Hub Programs: - Various programs for children 0 to 7 years of age.
Contact: Kenora Best Start Hub, 467-5530. Minaki: An outreach program for families in Minaki, two Mondays each month. The playgroup meets at the Community Centre for songs, reading, craft and a snack. Contact: Best Start Hub, 467-5530. Minto Girls Group - A prevention group for girl’s ages 9-12 focused on information sharing versus therapeutic services with the importance of mental and physical health emphasized.
- Participants are linked with various community organizations.
Contact: Lake of the Woods Child Development Centre 467-5437 Mom and Me, Abuse Free - A 10-week concurrent group program for children and their mothers who have experienced domestic violence.
- A chance to assist mother’s in understanding how violence has impacted their children and how best to respond to their children’s needs.
- Moms must have custody of their children to participate.
- Assistance with transportation and childcare is provided.

ADD/ADHD Support Group- This parent lead group is open to anyone wanting to learn more about Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). 3-4 meetings are held each year.
