Li’l Eagles Program

• Offers cultural, social, recreational, and educational activities.

KENORA

Kenora Best Start Hub Programs:

• Various programs for children 0 to 7 years of age.

Minaki: An outreach program for families in Minaki, two Mondays each month. The playgroup meets at the Community Centre for songs, reading, craft and a snack.

Minto Girls Group

• A prevention group for girl’s ages 9-12 focused on information sharing versus therapeutic services with the importance of mental and physical health emphasized.
  
  
• Participants are linked with various community organizations.

• A 10-week concurrent group program for children and their mothers who have experienced domestic violence.
  
  
• A chance to assist mother’s in understanding how violence has impacted their children and how best to respond to their children’s needs.
  
  
• Moms must have custody of their children to participate.
  
  
• Assistance with transportation and childcare is provided.

• Parents between the ages of 16-21 have the opportunity to complete your grade 12 and bring your child with you.

• Offers many activities for children and parents, including Tales for Tots, Story Hour, Rainbow of Fun and Rhyme Time.
